How We Rate Expert Advisors
Our scoring methodology is transparent, data-driven, and designed to give you a complete picture of each EA's performance and risk.
The Scoring System
Each EA is scored on a 0-10 scale based on weighted analysis of the following factors:
The percentage of profitable trades. Higher is better, but we also consider the risk/reward ratio.
The largest peak-to-trough decline. We penalize EAs with drawdowns over 20%.
Gross profit divided by gross loss. Above 1.5 is good, above 2.0 is excellent.
Risk-adjusted return measure. Above 1.0 is good, above 2.0 is exceptional.
We measure the difference between backtest and live results. Larger gaps suggest curve-fitting.
Longer verified track records earn higher scores. New EAs start with a ceiling of 8.5.
🤖 AI Verdict System
Our AI analyzes each EA across multiple dimensions and generates a verdict:
The EA passes all our tests. Low drawdown, verified track record, and realistic backtest-to-live performance.
The EA has potential but concerns exist — high drawdown, short track record, or significant backtest-to-live gap.
The EA fails our criteria. High risk, over-optimized backtests, or unrecoverable drawdowns.
